Lloyd Loom: made in Germany
Did you know that a German enterprise has a stake in the traditional manufacturing company Lusty's Lloyd Loom Ltd and moreover that it produces Lloyd Loom under own management? At the beginning of the nineties already, Go In GmbH, a supplier of hotel and restaurant furniture from Landsberg a. L., secured the rights to bear the name as well as production know-how; since then the company supplies customers throughout Europe with traditional Lloyd Loom furniture. Based on the patented method by M. B. Lloyd, Lusty Lloyd already produced Lloyd Loom chairs in Great Britain at the beginning of the last century. Applying great manual skills, Lloyd Loom restaurant furniture is made from spun kraft paper, reinforced with steel and, in combination with a strong wooden frame, assembled to Loom chairs or tables.
